π What are you grateful for?
/I hope youβve been enjoying your long weekend! I've spent the weekend enjoying time in nature, eating some yummy goodies and enjoying time with friends and family after a busy month!
Whenever I feel the pace of life is getting a little frenetic, I seek out things that ground me. Yoga, walks in nature, warm cups of tea β all help me feel a little more centred and ready to tackle whatever may come.
One of biggest changes Iβve made to my life to ensure I begin and end my day with intention is cultivating a practice of gratitude. Have you heard of The Five Minute Journal? This simple but important practice has been the biggest factor when it comes to living a more intentional and grateful life. I invite you to try it sometime! As an example, here are 5 things Iβm grateful for right now:
1. My beautiful house
2. My three adorable kitties: Poppy, Fergus and Finnegan
3. The magic of the fall leaves
4. My renewed energy after grieving the loss of Wilfrid (it's been just over a year since we tragically lost him πΏ)
5. My body and its ability to move and take me on adventures
If youβre looking to bring a little more calmness and stillness to your life during this beautiful season, thereβs still time to join us in the Laurentians this weekend at the Back to Balance Retreat! Letβs spend some time flowing in nature, enjoying grounding meditations, delicious meals and hikes surrounded by colourful leaves.
